Passion blooms, badminton match

    In order to further stimulate the enthusiasm of employees to participate in physical exercise and improve their physical fitness, enrich the cultural life of the enterprise, and cultivate the team spirit of employees, on December 24th, the trade union of Xi'an Waterworks Second Engineering Co., Ltd. held the first "Passion Blooms, Feather Together" badminton competition as scheduled. More than 60 people, including company leaders, invited judges Liu Qian, Chen Bo, and members of various departments, attended the event. Over 30 contestants presented a wonderful competitive feast.

     Before the official start of the competition, Guo Yantao, the chairman of the labor union, delivered a mobilization speech: "Good physical fitness is the basic prerequisite and important guarantee for carrying out work and achieving career success. We hope that everyone will take this competition as an opportunity to follow the principle of 'friendship first, competition second', compete with excellence, and compare their level; Through sports activities, one can relax their body and mind and enhance their physical fitness while working under pressure The competition is divided into preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds. On site, the competition groups are formed by drawing lots, and each game adopts a best of three system. Adopting group single round robin and elimination rounds, allowing athletes to demonstrate high-level competitive state and team spirit.

       As the referee tossed the coin up, the game officially began! On the field, the crisp sound of hitting the ball echoed one after another, and the athletes were agile in their posture, serving, receiving, and spiking, each movement revealing focus and hard work. I saw them as light as swallows, moving and turning, sometimes jumping up to smash, sometimes moving quickly, and their exquisite skills such as light suspension in front of the net, interception in the midfield, and long-range shots in the backcourt were staged in rotation, demonstrating their superb athletic level.

    The audience off the field was also immersed in the intense and tense game, as the shuttlecock came and went, the score alternated and rose, applause and cheers erupted one after another. The audience cheered and applauded for every wonderful moment and the fighting spirit of every athlete.

   After 4 days of intense competition, this tournament successfully concluded on December 27th, with the top three male and female contestants standing out. The company leaders presented awards to the winners and distributed exquisite competition prizes.
